Teddy Riley Co-Signs T-Pain In KING Mag

In the 50th Issue of KING magazine (April/May ’09) legendary producer Teddy Riley gives his sound-a-like T-Pain the ultimate stamp of approval.
“T-Pain is the only one that can use Auto-Tune the way I do, because he plays,” says Riley, an Auto-Tune and talk box user who gave T-Pain his first keyboard. Pain’s father is friends with Riley.
“But you couldn’t get guys like Lil’ Wayne, T.I. or whoever else is just singing through it to use it the way I do,” Riley concludes. ” No disrespect to anybody-it’s just scientific fact.”
T-Pain is currently working on a deal with Auto-Tune creator Antares and iTunes for an Auto-Tune iPhone app.
