On Sunday August 29th 2010 DJ Spinna, Marley Marl, Spike Lee and all of Brooklyn came out to wish the late King of Pop a happy 52nd birthday. I grabbed some footage for the day job.
I had a “whose on first” moment when I asked Jamie Hector from The Wire what his favorite Michael Jackson record was and he answered, “Why.” Because you’re at a Michael Jackson party, man! He actually meant “Human Nature.” This is why we need music back in the schools. (I kid, I kid. )
