Vibe magazine is doing another controversial contest to pick Hip-Hop’s greatest producer. With four brackets [Homegrown Sound, Boom Bap, Soulful and Mass Appeal] they attempted not to piss people off TOO bad, but you know the war is on regardless. I’m not sure I get some of these match-ups (ie DJ Premier vs Bangladesh in the BOOM BAP category) but we’ll see how it turns out.
