MTV’s Shaheem Reid got Game on the phone to talk about the producers for his up-coming R.E.D. album.

“The only person I’m upset I didn’t work with on this album is DJ Premier. I feel his sh– would have been perfect for this all-star producer cast that I have. One Premier track would have did me just fine.”

Pharrell was invited to give the key note speech at Midem, a music business conference held in Cannes, France. It was in Q&A format with Rob Stone, who is the co-CEO of Cornerstone – who you might remember from Pharrell’s Billboard cover.

Hip-Hop dominated Billboard magazine’s recently announced top 10 producers of the decade list, with The Neptunes taking the top spot.

The Virginia duo, which consists of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, have worked with a slew of the decade’s biggest stars including everyone from rap’s elite like Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West to pop royalty like Madonna, Gwen Stefani and Britney Spears.
