Bangladesh sat down with Rap-UpTv recently and spoke about the lack of payment from Wayne’s “The Carter III”. As you may know Mr. Bangladesh did the “A Milli” track on the album and this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about producers not getting paid by Mr. Carter. As reported in April Jim Jonsin is still seeking payment for “Lollipop” and producer Deezle at that time was still waiting to get paid for “Mrs. Officer”. With Wayne locked up anyone else think these guys are still waiting? Also during the interview Bangladesh reveals that he did a track with Gucci featuring Ciara and says “it’s some hood shit, but it’s pop”. Hmmmm sounds interesting.

Deezle Suing Lil Wayne For $2.5 Million for “Mrs. Officer”

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne may end up in front of a judge again, but this time to defend himself against a copyright infringement lawsuit.

The Royalty Network filed a $2.5 million dollar lawsuit against Lil Wayne and Cash Money Records in Manhattan Federal Court yesterday (February 17).

According to the lawsuit, “Mrs. Officer” was produced by Darius “Deezle” Harrison, who claimed he owns the rights the song.

Harrison seeks all profits that have been derived from “Mrs. Officer”, which also featured R&B crooner Bobby Valentino and rapper Kidd Kidd.

With every rapper under the sun jumping on the instrumental to Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” the producer of the track Shondre “Bangladesh” Crawford put out a video discussing his rise to prominence. Peep it.

Some folks will probably known the man as Shondrae who has been putting down beats for Ludacris and DTP for years. But “A Milli” is clearly the beat he’s known for right now.
