On Wednesday May 22nd RedBull Music Academy held an event just for producers to connect with their fans called Drum Majors. In conjunction with The Fader magazine, Boi-1da, Young Chop (Chief Keef, Pusha T), and DJ Mustard (Tyga, 2 Chainz) J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (Rick Ross, Nas), Bangladesh (Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj), Drumma Boy (Gucci Mane, Young Jeezy), and the great man Mannie Fresh took the stage at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn to play some of their biggest hits, unreleased beats and sneak peeks of upcoming songs.
“This might be a Lil Kim joint called ‘Strawberry'” Bangladesh said teasing the audience. “Might bring her back real quick. But we gotta get the paper work right.” J.U.S.T.I.C.E also dropped a track featuring Kendrick Lamar that they said will be on the next Grand Theft Auto soundtrack.
Here are some flicks we captured of the night.
