On Saturday Sept 22nd Hank Shocklee held the latest installment of his Shocklee Innertainment Panel Series at Imsta-Festa (International Music Software Trade Association) in NYC. Over 2000 musicians and producers pre-registered for the event held at the SAE Institute to watch demonstrations and get the latest news from vendors like AKAI, Ableton, Native Instruments and more. At the tale end of his keynote 9th spoke candidly about what he learned from working with Jay-Z and Destiny’s Child and the myth of underground vs commercial. Forgive the angle, but if you close your eyes and listen it won’t matter.
