Lil Wayne’s strained relationship with hip-hop producers continues. According to Allhiphop.com producer, Michael ‘MalilBoy’ Bradford  claims he made the original beat for Lil Wayne’s hit single “Mrs. Officer” and has hired an expert witness to testify on his behalf, relating to a copyright infringement lawsuit.

The original lawsuit was filed in January of 2009, claiming that he made the original beat for the hit single, which features crooner Bobby V.

Bradford’s lawsuit claims he made the original track five years before it was reworked by producer Deezle, who was given credit for the song, which is featured on Wayne’s hit album Tha Carter III.

According to Bradford, he made the original beat on an instrumental track titled “Popeye.”
