Deezle Wins Two Grammys For Carter III

(February 9, 2009- New York, NY) Celebrated producer/musician and engineer Darius “Deezle” Harrison walked away with two (2) Grammy Awards as a songwriter for Best Rap Song for Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” and Best Rap Album for Tha Carter III.

This was the first year Deezle had been nominated for the Grammy Awards.

“I felt blessed just to be nominated but now it’s starting to set in that I won!! I am so thankful,” states Deezle.

Deezle, a New Orleans native, also worked on Lil Wayne’s first two Carter albums and produced seven (7) tracks on Tha Carter III. Currently Deezle is in the studio working on records for Usher’s new album as well as Huey, and new comer Kidd Kidd who is featured on the infectious hit “Mrs. Officer.” Deezle is currently in the process of securing a home for his DRUM MAJOR Music label.
