It seems that great minds thing alike. If you haven’t already copped that Common Remix project by K-Salaam and Beatnick, go ahead and do that RIGHT NOW. A few weeks ago I grabbed the acapella to “Universal Mind Control” and decided to try remixing a CURRENT song (how novel?).
Yeah, I went back into the Bob James vault for this one. I like how Common sounds over samples, sue me.
